Logistic Manager

Adecco is hiring a Logistic Manager for one of its clients – a leading agribusiness company active in the production, storage, and international trade of grains and oilseeds, recognized for its modern infrastructure, strong export operations, and commitment to efficiency and sustainability across the entire agricultural supply chain.Responsabilities:Plan and manage logistics operations: truck, rail or bargeOversee warehouse/silo operations, inventory movement, and stock controlNegotiate contracts and rates with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics partnersMaintain stakeholder relationship with suppliers, customers and freight companiesMonitor delivery schedules and ensure on-time shipmentsCoordinate with execution, quality, and trading teams to align logistics with contract termsEnsure compliance with local/international regulations, safety, and quality standardsHandle transport claims, insurance coordination, and demurrage trackingMonitor warehouse inventory, follow quantity loss and quality depreciation. Implement and improve logistics KPIs, reporting, and cost optimization measuresManagement of data collection, analysis and reports related to open cargo flows, stocks, costs (ERP system)Handle accruals management to ensure accurate financial forecasting and cost trackingCandidate Profile:Manage and optimize the transportation, storage, and handling of agricultural commodities (grains, oilseeds) across the supply chain. Ensure efficient, cost-effective, and timely logistics operations aligned with trade contracts and customer requirements.3 - 5 years experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations, with progressive experience in team and process managementKnows the current legislation of Romanian and regulations governing trade relations between legal entitiesKnows the rules of incoterms, types of chartersKnows Microsoft Office, electronic document management systemsKnows statistical reporting, accounting of basic accounting operationsStrong knowledge of Incoterms, trade flows, and transport regulationsExcellent coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skillsStrong organizational and multitasking skillsProficient in logistics software and ERP systemsFamiliar with bulk logistics, port operations, customs, and inspection agencies
