TasksYour Business and Area of ResponsibilityFrom day one, you will actively contribute by negotiating costs and schedules for logistics services such as freight rates, warehouse conditions, customs, etc. , with our logistics partners. You will handle customer orders operationally (from placing orders with manufacturing partners to organizing overseas transportation and delivery to our customers). In doing so, you will always keep an eye on lead times and proactively report them to your stakeholders.
Keeping your colleagues in product management informed about current developments in the logistics market and support them in preparing offers for customers worldwide, will be a significant part of your activities. You will be responsible for monitoring inventory as well as scheduling inbound/outbound movements in our warehouses across Europe. Handling all kinds of documents (BLs, CMRs etc. ) in the supply chain, comes naturally to you.

You have experience within transport and warehouse logistics, customs freight and in dealing with transport service providers. Experience with dangerous goods transport and ISO tank shipments is an advantage but not a necessity. Fluent English is necessary, any other foreign language is welcome.
You have very good MS Office skills, and you enjoy learning new IT applications like ERP-systems.
