Job Description
Job DescriptionRole purpose: To guarantee smooth fixed operations by ensuring the quality and availability of logistics (i.e. tools, materials, PPEs etc.), strategic forecasting based on utilization to avoid shortage and manage the OPEX and CAPEX budget for the unit.The candidate will also be expected to support the setup and management of the Fixed NOC, ensuring swift and efficient incident resolution, while embracing a mindset aligned with Digital Transformation.Key Responsibilities Responsible for the availability of Tools, PPEs, Materials etc. of the fixed Service team Effective and efficient OPEX and CAPEX management Generation of Purchase Orders (PO) and shopping vouchers Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle Liaise and negotiate with supply chain management team on behalf of fixed services team Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency Arrange warehouse, catalogue goods, plan routes and process transportation Resolve any arising problems or complaints in relation to logistics in Fixed Service Supervise, coach and train Vendor schedulers Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements Comply with laws, regulations, and standardsCore Competencies, Knowledge, And Experience Experience in accounting and logistic management. Knowledge in Telecommunication Networks will be an added advantage Stakeholder management and Business case expertise Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office suit, Excel, word, Power point, Oracle SQL Leadership and people management skills Ability to speak and present in public and at management meetings Excellent Customer Experience skillsMust Have Technical / Professional Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mathematics and Statistics, Accounting, Computer Engineering, Purchasing and Supply, Supply chain Mgt. etc. Customer Experience training Knowledge in the use of emerging technologies (IOT, AI, Agility, robotics) Programming Knowledge (web and mobile development) is an added advantage Knowledge in the management of operational Health and Safety
