Logistics Co-Ordinator / Manager - IT, Technology - this is a long term contract vacancy for our Zürich based in the Financial Services sector.Your tasks:Planning & Coordination Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities across departments and external partners. Develop and maintain delivery schedules, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods. Monitor and track shipments, proactively resolving delays or issuesInventory & Documentation Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and deliveries. Prepare shipping documents, invoices, customs paperwork, and compliance reports. Ensure proper documentation for inbound and outbound logisticsForecasting and Analysis Collaborate with demanding planning teams to align stock availability. Analyze stock turnover lead times and product life cycles to optimize replenishment cycles. Provide regular reports on stock capacity utilization and vacanciesVendor & Stakeholder Management Communicate effectively with internal teams (procurement, operations) to align logistics with project needs.Compliance & Safety Ensure logistics activities comply with legal, safety, and environmental regulations. Implement best practices for handling, storage, and transport of goods.Financial &Reporting Support budgeting and forecasting related to asset acquisition and maintenanceContinuous Improvement Identify inefficiencies in logistics processes and propose solutions for optimization.
