Logistics Coordinator

Whitecap International Seafood Exporters is an established seafood marketing company that exports a wide range of seafood products across the world. We are currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Reporting to Whitecap’s Logistics Manager, you will:Plan and arrange trucking, ocean freight - import and export shipments.Track and manage all shipments in transit.Be responsible for issuing customs documents, certificates, and other delivery documents.Assist and liaise with suppliers, customers, Sales, QA, and Whitecap management.We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who:·        Can thrive in a fast-paced, office environment.·        Can function as part of a team, building solid relationships with co-workers and external colleagues with a professional and positive attitude.·        Is extremely detailed with exceptional administrative and organizational skills with proven written and verbal communication skills.·        Is proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.·        Has minimum 2 years of International Logistics experience with the main focus on truck/transborder and Ocean Freight, CIFFA Certification and experience in the Seafood Industry would also be an asset·        Has a University or college background.Compensation commensurate with experience and education.To Apply:Please submit your resume and a cover letter to info@whitecapseafoods.com detailing your interest in the position and how your skills align with the responsibilities outlined above.---We embrace diversity.
