Join ECOLAB as GBS+ Supply Chain Manager, supporting Latin America Planning and International Logistics Organizations. In this key role you will help drive regional operations strategy and commercial competitive advantage. You will deliver breakthrough service and savings by bringing these Planning and Logistics together. You will gain leadership proficiency as you scale operating models and deploy best practice that delivers commercial results.This individual will lead a team of direct reports while also influencing across the organization to drive meaningful global improvement aligned with Planning, Logistics, Commercial, and Financial objectives. The manager will facilitate ECOLAB as a place for strong talent engagement by driving positive culture and predictable product supply.This position requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills along with exposure to Latin America regional operations including Planning and International Logistics inclusive of customs and trade. This role requires a flexible approach and ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment with passion for process and continuous improvement.What You Will DoManage Inventory Planning, Transportation Planning, Trade Operations, and Control TowerImplement clear workflow and expectations for direct reports with structured goalsLead cross-functional teams to deliver continuous improvement outcomesDevelop and track actionable outcomes with assigned owners and deadlinesMotivate direct reports to achieve goals in a positive work environmentReceive full support from executive leaders across relevant functional areasInfluence stakeholders at all levels of the organizationRequired Skills / ExperienceCross Border Logistics, Customs, and Trade Exposure Ensure supplier process rigor for successful customs clearance including shipping and license document completeness and accuracy through centralized provided technologyTransportation Planning ExposureGeneral understanding of flow of goods across borders and ability to lead specialist team to execute shipmentsDemand & Supply Planning ExposureExperience collaborating with demand or supply planning teams to align transport and inventory needs with forecasted demandUnderstanding of how demand variability impacts logistics flows (e.g., seasonality, promotional surges, end of monthAbility to translate forecast changes into proactive logistics capacity adjustments (e.g., carrier allocation, customs clearance resources, or buffer inventory placement)Inventory & Replenishment PlanningUnderstanding of safety stock positioning between regions (e.g., US distribution hubs vs. LATAM regional warehouses)Experience working with planners to balance working capital and service levels through logistics levers (e.g., consolidation points, direct shipments)Exposure to slow-moving or perishable goods planning would be a plus, if relevant to your product categoryScenario & Contingency PlanningDemonstrated ability to run “what-if” scenarios across the end-to-end chain, for instance, if a port closes, demand spikes, or trade regulations shiftExperience building business continuity plans and managing risk across cross-border flows (weather events, customs delays, political disruptions)Approach: Connect Planning and Operational Logistics FunctionsEnd-to-End MindsetThinks in terms of total supply chain cost and performance, not just transport KPIsUnderstands upstream and downstream implications of logistics decisions e.g., how a delay in one region impacts customer service or inventory health in anotherData & Analytical ProficiencyCross-Functional & Cross-Cultural CollaborationExcellent communicator between planning, customer service, procurement, and logistics functionsCulturally agile and able to collaborate across US and diverse LATAM countries (language, regulatory, and business culture sensitivity)Experience leading or facilitating S&OP or IBP meetings is a strong advantageStrategic Problem-SolvingUses planning insights to drive structural improvements not just firefightingCapable of translating data into actionable, cross-functional initiatives (e.g., lead time reduction, supplier diversification, transport consolidation)Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree5+ years of professional experience in business, or related field2+ years of leadership including ability to build and lead effective teams, direct work, and drive resultsStrong computer skills using products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and web applicationsStrong presentation skillsPreferred QualificationsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal skills, ability to influence decision makers and team-members.Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skillsSelf-motivated, results oriented performerProven success initiating changeSix Sigma Green BeltOur Commitment to a Culture of Inclusion & BelongingEcolab is committed to fair and equal treatment of associates and applicants and furthering the principles of Equal Opportunity to Employment.
