About the CompanyAs a Logistics Manager you will be responsible for the transport function, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective fulfilment of all customer requirements. You will provide inspirational leadership to your team and work in partnership with our customer Starbucks to ensure productivity, accuracy and cost targets are met and exceeded.About the RoleYour responsibilities include:Planning and delivery of operational transport activities through your Transport Team Managers, to ensure the required level of service is provided to the customerAccountability for overall productivity within the operation, ensuring that activities are cost effective and levels of resource are managed effectivelyMaintaining and improving performance levels to maximise efficiency of operation in line with account KPI’sEnsuring vehicles are legally compliantEffectively motivate, manage, and inspire your Transport Team Managers to develop and grow the skills of their teamsAnalysing customer feedback/information & propose innovative ideas to enhance the overall functionDriving forward the continuous improvement of the operationWorking within the departmental budget to own and achieve targetsEnsuring that all requirements relating to safety, health, environment and quality are being fully implemented QualificationsThorough knowledge and hands on experience of working in a large, complex transport function - ideally within temperature controlled distribution.Required SkillsA passion for encouraging team work, with an innovative approach to leadership – being creative and implementing new ways to improve performance and get the best out of your peopleA focus on promoting a culture where all employees are engagedExcellent customer relationship building skillsStrong commercial awarenessAn analytical mind-set with a good understanding of reporting and recording performance statisticsRelevant transport management systems knowledgeCPC licence holderFlexibility to work within a fast-paced 24/7 businessEqual Opportunity StatementWe are committed to diversity and inclusivity.*Please note that interview will take place from 12th January 2026*
