Logistics Manager

I am currently looking for a Yard/Operational Manager to join my client in the Rotterdam region, Netherlands.The client is an offshore EPC company who works across a broad range of offshore projects; covering offshore package management, project management for delivery, engineering & design and Transportation & Installation, you will be covering all yard and operational aspects of their projects.This is a brilliant opportunity to join a growing company, and have a large impact on the day to day activity for their projects.THE CLIENT WILL ONLY CONSIDER PERMANENT CANDIDATESSTART: ASAPLOCATION: South Holland region, NetherlandsSALARY/PACKAGE: €5,000 - €7,000 per month + 8%Technical Manager - YardBachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, etc.)3 + years of experience working in marine, heavy lifting industry or offshore operations.Any experience working with hydraulic systemsBackground with reactive and preventative maintenance, compiling reports and maintenance plansExperience in planning operational aspects of projects, equipment mobilisation and demobilisationFluent English and Dutch is essential.They have advised that the right candidate will have a great opportunity to work in a largely autonomous role, coordinating site and operational aspects of projects, with a very hands-on day to day role.They would be happy to have candidates based in Netherlands already or would be prepared to move to the Rotterdam region.
