Operating from a 75,000 sq. ft. hub in Tipperary, they deliver thousands of freshly prepared meals daily to schools, with a mission to make healthy, affordable lunches accessible to every child.To support growth, they are seeking an experienced Transport & Logistics Manager to take ownership of delivery operations across Ireland, ensuring every school receives its meals on time.The OpportunityThis is a hands-on leadership role overseeing national delivery operations. Based in Nenagh, the Transport & Logistics Manager will coordinate regional supervisors, hub managers, and drivers to ensure efficient, reliable service, drive continuous improvement, and maintain the highest delivery standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Transport Operations: Manage nationwide logistics, oversee hubs and driver networks, and ensure zero delivery failures.Team Leadership: Lead three Regional Supervisors and their teams, including contracted drivers, fostering accountability and service excellence.Operational Planning: Optimise routes, schedules, and resources; monitor performance through KPIs and metrics.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Production, Operations, and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless delivery and support new hub rollouts.Customer Focus: Ensure accurate, timely deliveries to schools, resolve issues promptly, and uphold service excellence.Skills & Experience Required5+ years in transport, logistics, or distribution management, ideally in food, FMCG, or time-sensitive sectors.Proven experience managing regional or nationwide delivery networks.Strong leadership and people management skills.Strong customer service experience, with the ability to manage client relationships and resolve issues effectively.Excellent route planning, scheduling, and operational oversight.Hands-on, adaptable, decisive, and capable of owning the logistics model independently.CPC qualification desirable; full, clean driving licence essential.Why JoinLead logistics for a purpose-driven Irish business impacting schools nationwide.Shape and scale a growing national delivery network.Collaborative, supportive environment with real operational impact.Based at a modern 75,000 sq. ft. hub in Nenagh
