Hiring Logistics Manager – Export & Import OperationsLocation: QatarIndustry: Manufacturing CompanyQualifications & Skills: · Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field. · 8+ years of experience in logistics and shipping operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment. · Proven ability to handle high volumes of containerized shipments across various international trade lanes. · In-depth knowledge of Qatar Customs regulations and documentation processes. · Strong experience with EPC, BAL, COO, and full export/import documentation. · Proficient in ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and international shipment tracking tools. · Strong organizational, leadership, and negotiation skills. Key Responsibilities🔹 Export & Import Operations:
Oversee the complete international logistics cycle, including shipping, documentation, customs clearance, and final delivery. Ensure full compliance with Qatar Customs import/export regulations, including proper classification, EPCs, and other regulatory filings. Manage logistics for bulk raw materials, finished goods, and equipment across sea, air, and land transport modes. Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers for timely movement and clearance of goods. 🔹 Shipping Documentation & Trade Compliance: Prepare, verify, and manage all required documentation including:
Bill of Lading (B/L), Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin (COO), EPC (Export Permit Certificate), BAL (Bill Approval Letter)Ensure compliance with Incoterms, international trade regulations, and destination-specific import requirements. Maintain accurate records for all shipments and support internal and external audits. 🔹 Container & Freight Logistics: Extensive experience managing a large number of container shipments globally, including coordination, scheduling, and tracking. Optimize container utilization, port schedules, and shipping line negotiations to reduce cost and lead time. Monitor global freight trends and proactively manage shipping routes to minimize disruption.
