Job Description

As our Logistics Operation Manager, you will: The Logistic Operations Manager is responsible for the inbound shipments, inventory management and outbound deliveries of KFC Myanmar. This individual will support driving process excellence and continuous operation improvement where applicable. Logistics operations managers typically work in fast-paced environments, often within warehouses, distribution centers, or corporate offices. He/She may need to work irregular hours to meet operational demands and ensure timely deliveries.   Key responsibilities:  ·      Inbound Logistics Management:   ·      Manage all inbound Logistics arrangements with designated importers or logistics service providers to ensure the best quality of inbound shipment service.

 ·      Support Strategic air, ocean and road shipments planning to optimize inbound Logistics cost.  ·      Inventory Management:   ·      Work closely with 3PL Warehouse Management service provider, Procurement team and Finance team to optimize the warehouse inventory level to reduce inventory cost.  ·      Monitor stock levels across central warehouse and restaurants to minimize waste and not to be stockouts and excess inventory.   ·      Align inventory planning with food safety standards, shelf-life requirements, and operational constraints.   ·      Outbound Deliveries Management :

 ·      Liaise with Operation teams and 3PL Warehouse Management service provider for the movement of goods from warehouse to stores, ensuring timely delivery and effective distribution of supplies to all KFC Myanmar locations.   ·      Plan and optimize delivery schedules, vehicle utilization, and route planning to reduce distribution costs and improve service levels.  ·      Monthly review of the KPI’s relating to outbound deliveries to Stores in close cooperation with 3PL service provider and Internal Operation team.   ·      Store Stock Replenishment and Risk Management ·      Identify risks in demand-supply balance such as supplier delays, unexpected demand surges, or product shortages.

  ·      Develop and maintain contingency plans and safety stock strategies to ensure continuity of supply during disruptions.   ·      Collaborate with cross-functional teams during crisis response and recovery.   ·      Defect/Reject issues ·      Coordinate with QA and Operation team in defect or reject issues in receiving or issuing stocks and to ensure sourced and stored products meet KFC quality standards.  Data Analysis & Reporting ·      Provide regular reports and dashboards to the Head of SCM and Leadership team on key planning KPIs such as inventory turnover, warehouse costs and service levels.   ·      Use data insights to drive planning decisions and enhance supply chain visibility.

  Qualifications  ·      Bachelors’ degree with relevant experience in Logistics, transportation or supply chain management.  ·      At least 5 years’ experience in warehouse inventory management and transportation management role .  ·      Experience working in or with multinational brands or franchise systems is an advantage.   Key Competencies ·      Proficient in excel and data management tools.  ·      Drives process excellence and continuous improvements.  ·      Demonstrates strong analytical and follow-up skills.  ·      Strong drive for action and solutions.  ·      Good relationship Management.
