What You'll Do: Project Management: Lead and coordinate strategic logistics purchase projects with the Senior Transport & Logistics Buyers. Contract Negotiation: Lead project-based negotiations with carriers, ensuring alignment with strategic purchasing objectives. Partnership Development: Develop and oversee projects aimed at establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships with logistics providers. Cost Analysis: Manage purchasing projects that analyse transportation cost to identify cost-saving opportunities. Cross-Functional Coordination and stakeholder management: Coordinate project activities within the Purchasing teams and with other departments to ensure integration within the business operations. Financial Tracking: Oversee the tracking and reporting of spend and cost savings from purchasing projects within the Transport & Logistics category. Compliance Management: Ensure that all project activities adhere to company policies and regulatory standards. Efficiency Improvement: Lead projects that proactively explore and implement measures to drive cost reductions and enhance operational efficiencies. What You'll Bring: Extensive experience in procurement of transportation and/or warehousing activities. Expertise in project and change management. Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. Familiarity with neutral 4PL concept. Capability of thriving in a dynamic, deadline-oriented environment. Autonomous attitude, with a proven track record of swiftly adapting to new organizational structures. Accountability for the performance and outcomes of assigned tasks and projects. A collaborative team player mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Skills at fostering relationships across multidisciplinary teams. Strong attention to detail while maintaining the overall view on the Team and projects objectives. Proficiency in English is mandatory; additional languages are beneficial. Why Join Us?
