As part of our exciting growth journey in Türkiye, we are now looking for a Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic and collaborative team based in Istanbul.As Logistics Specialist, you will play a key role in managing end-to-end import, customs, and shipment operations, ensuring that all products arrive on time and in full compliance with regulations. You will work closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and our global teams in Japan to deliver seamless logistics processes that meet ASICS’ global standards.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and monitor import, customs clearance, and delivery processes from origin to destinationMaintain regular communication with customs brokers and logistics vendors to ensure smooth operationsCoordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs partners to ensure timely shipment and document flowTrack all logistics and import documentation (invoices, ATRs, certificates of origin, insurance, checklists, etc.)Verify compliance with Turkish customs regulations and complete any missing or incorrect documentationFollow up on freight and import-related costs, managing billing and invoicing processes accuratelyCoordinate with factories, ASICS Japan teams, and the Turkey finance department for payment and delivery alignmentEnsure that products reach the main warehouse according to scheduleIdentify and resolve potential delays or issues in import operations proactivelyUtilize ERP and import tracking systems to manage and report shipment statusRequirements2–3 years of professional experience in logistics and import operationsStrong understanding of customs regulations, import documentation, and shipment coordinationBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Foreign Trade, or a related fieldExcellent command of English, both written and verbal to communicate effectively with global teamsFamiliarity with ERP and import tracking systemsAnalytical, detail-oriented, and highly organized with strong documentation skillsA team player with a proactive and adaptable mindsetExperience in the fashion, apparel, or footwear industry is a plus
