This is a fixed-term parental leave cover for 12 months.In this role, your primary mission is to ensure a successful, friction-free delivery experience for Swappie’s customers and drive efficiency across our operations. If you are ready to take ownership of complex problem-solving and contribute directly to our operational excellence, this is your chance to leave a significant fingerprint on Swappie's core customer journey. 🌏💚What You'll Work On (Key Responsibilities)Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will be the bridge between customer satisfaction and operational speed. Your work will involve strategic analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on issue resolution. You will:Manage Service Providers: Ensure service levels agreed with Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) are consistently met, troubleshooting and solving operational logistics issues, and acting as the key escalation point for LSPs.Problem-Solving & Analysis: Systematically analyze performance data to find gaps, identify the root causes of problems and propose practical solutions. You will distinguish between critical and minor details to prioritize tasks and manage resources effectively.Stakeholder Communication: Cultivate trustworthy relationships with LSPs and internal teams (e.g. Operations, Customer Service). Proactively communicate project progress and changes, actively gathering input to ensure mutual understanding.Operational Efficiency: Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by participating in logistics-related development projects that enhance the network and create innovative concepts.We Would Love to Hear From You If You Have...Your success will be driven by a blend of practical knowledge, analytical rigor, and a proactive mindset.Experience & Education: 3+ years of relevant work experience (logistics, transportation, or supply chain) and min. a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.Logistics Expertise: A solid understanding of logistics industry principles, especially international parcel logistics, trade compliance, and incoterms.Communication & Collaboration: Strong, confident communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders.Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical abilities, able to logically identify root causes and propose practical improvement actions.Ownership Mindset: A proactive attitude, self-motivation, and a strong sense of ownership and accountability for your own work.Adaptability: The proven ability to manage multiple priorities, quickly adapt to changing situations, and meet deadlines, even under pressure.Language Skills: Fluent English is a must (our company language).
