Job Summary / The OpportunityAs a logistics Specialist for the new TK Elevator (TKE) & ALAT Joint Venture, you will be a key operational player in building our logistics function in Saudi Arabia from the ground up.This is a hands-on role with a two-phase mission. Initially, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and performance oversight of our 3PL partner during the "Temporary Warehouse" phase. Subsequently, you will be a key contributor in the transition and stabilization of logistics operations within our new, large-scale manufacturing plant in Dammam.This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented logistics professional who wants to grow with a strategic, high-growth venture.2. Key ResponsibilitiesPhase 1: Temporary Warehouse & 3PL Management (Initial 1-2 Years)• 3PL Performance Management:o Serve as the daily operational point of contact for our selected 3PL partner.o Track and monitor the 3PL's performance against key KPIs (On-Time Delivery, Inventory Accuracy, etc.).o Participate in monthly and quarterly business reviews to discuss performance and operational issues.• Operational Coordination:o Ensure smooth execution of all inbound flows, including customs clearance and drayage from KSA ports.o Oversee the critical component consolidation process performed by the 3PL.o Coordinate with TKE ALAT's Customer Service (CSC) and Field teams to ensure outbound orders are processed and dispatched correctly by the 3PL.o Monitor the successful execution of specialized last-mile deliveries (e.g., crane-equipped trucks).Phase 2: Factory Logistics Operations (Long-Term)• In-house Logistics Execution:o Manage the day-to-day inbound logistics at the new factory, including scheduling and receiving goods from global suppliers.o Oversee internal warehouse operations: put-away, inventory management, and feeding of production lines.o Coordinate all outbound logistics: planning and dispatching finished elevators/escalators to job sites.• LSP Management (Transportation):o Execute transport bookings with TKE's contracted Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) for pre/on-carriage and last-mile delivery.o Track in-transit shipments and manage any exceptions with the LSPs.• Project & Transition Support:o Actively participate in the project to transition logistics activities from the temporary 3PL warehouse to the new factory.o Support the implementation and stabilization of new logistics processes and SOPs within the factory.General Responsibilities (Across Both Phases):• Systems & Data Management:o Act as a key user of TKE's TMS, responsible for accurate and timely data entry for all shipments.o Work with the warehouse location and the factory's Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure data integrity.o Prepare regular operational reports on shipment status, volumes, and performance.• Problem Solving:o Identify and resolve day-to-day operational issues, from shipment delays to inventory discrepancies.3. Required Skills & Qualifications (Hard Skills)• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in operational logistics.• Experience in both warehousing operations (receiving, inventory, fulfillment) and transportation coordination. (Experience with a 3PL environment is a strong plus).• Familiarity with handling industrial or oversized goods.• Proficiency with logistics software (TMS and/or WMS). Experience with SAP is an advantage.• Good understanding of shipping documents, incoterms, and customs processes.• Proficiency in Arabic. Fluent in English (written and spoken).4.
