Job Description

Every year, demand for donor eggs outstrips supply, resulting in thousands of infertile couples being denied the chance of having children. The London Egg Bank is the UK’s largest provider of donor eggs and it is rapidly expanding. We are looking for an ambition driven, motivated self-starter to expand and take ownership of LEB onboarding activities. Salary: £28-30k per annumBonus: £300-£500 per month (depending on the target level reached)The ideal candidate will come from a recruitment, sales or healthcare background.

The Patient Onboarding Officer will attract, manage and build relationships with potential egg recipients ensuring that as many as possible are retained as existing patients. The Patient Onboarding Officer will oversee all aspects of patient recruitment. The person will take full ownership of the customer services and donor matching process.  The person will be responsible for managing patient database enquiries by responding to them over the phone, via video call and face to face.

The officer will also be responsible for interviewing prospective patients to educate them about the process as well as working effectively with the clinical departments to provide smooth patient care in line with HFEA guidelines. The role is customer centric and the ability to communicate well and empathise with patients is of paramount importance. As a leading provider of private fertility services, we require candidates to have outstanding interpersonal skills and be comfortable with communicating with patients over the phone, face to face as well as via written communication.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a mature attitude to work and a willingness to work in a challenging but rewarding environment whilst offering exceptional customer care at all times. This is an extremely exciting role for the donor bank, and it is essential that the successful candidate has the aptitude to work to department targets, is a team player and has a can-do attitude. Although not essential, experience of working in a healthcare setting particularly fertility would be advantageous. The ability to speak any foreign language would be a great advantage.
