The ideal candidate will perform various maintenance, general repair and upkeep tasks to ensure our facilities, classrooms and building are kept in top condition. This role requires a diverse skill set, including basic plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general maintenance, with a positive, can-do attitude.

RequirementsKey Accountabilities Facility maintenance, cleaning and repairsTeam supervision and general operational supportCompliance, H&S & condition monitoringKey ResponsibilitiesCarry out general maintenance and proactive/reactive repairs on building infrastructure, including doors, windows, walls, ceilings, and floorsInspect, diagnose, and repair minor plumbing and electrical issues, including fixing leaks, clearing clogged drains, replacing light fixtures, and resetting circuit breakersAssemble, install, and repair furniture, shelving, and other fixtures as requiredCarry out basic painting, decorating, and drywall repair tasksPerform general cleaning and maintenance of the facility's interior and exterior, including landscaping and minor outdoor repairsMonitor and report on the condition of equipment, appliances, and systems, identifying issues before they escalateConduct monthly facility compliance checks, including ladder/fire extinguisher and AC unit checks.
Supervise weekend team (freelancers, students), supporting where necessary on security, opening/closing and front desk cover. Assist with setting up classrooms, moving furniture, and other manual tasks as requiredRespond to proactive and reactive maintenance requests and address them in a timely and efficient mannerConduct maintenance tasks and support student film productions. Comply with safety protocols and ensure that all work is performed in accordance with health and safety regulationsMaintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working orderPerform other general maintenance duties as assigned.
