Head of Private Banking

For one of our clients, a small private bank based in Geneva, we are looking for a : HEAD OF PRIVATE BANKING Job descriptionDefine and implement the strategic roadmap for the private banking division in alignment with the firm’s overall objectives. Drive growth initiatives, including market expansion, client acquisition, and new product development. Monitor market dynamics and competitive landscape to maintain a strong positioning. Supervise the acquisition and retention of high-net-worth clients, ensuring long-term satisfaction and tailored wealth management solutions. Lead and develop a high-performing team of private bankers and advisors. Foster a collaborative, results-oriented, and client-focused culture.

Oversee the division’s financial performance (P&L), including revenue generation and cost control. Ensure adherence to risk management and compliance standards. Work cross-functionally with internal teams including investment, legal, and technology to deliver integrated services. Required profileUniversity degree in Finance, Business, or Economics; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is a plus. Minimum 15 years’ experience in private banking or wealth management, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Strong track record of managing and growing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients. Deep knowledge of investment products, wealth planning, and regulatory requirements. Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Technology- and data-savvy, with the ability to leverage digital tools to enhance performance. Entrepreneurial mindset, hands-on approach, and a collaborative spirit. Fluency in English required; French is a strong asset. Swiss residency required.
