About UsLUMO Digital Outdoor is a dynamic and growing digital out-of-home media organisation that has reshaped the perception of out-of-home advertising through innovation, creativity, transparency, and uncompromising quality.  We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and will suit someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys taking ownership of their work. Role OverviewAs the Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions and supporting month-end and year-end financial processes.

Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be key in helping the team maintain accurate financial records and reporting.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial AccountingManage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate recordsProcess monthly journals by the 10th working day each monthAssist in the preparation of monthly management reportsComplete monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliationsAccounts ReceivableManage client information in Xero and ensure integration with our CRM (Vault)Prepare client invoices and statements (Week 1 of each month)Conduct credit checks for new clients and communicate any risks to Sales ManagersFollow up on overdue payments and escalate problematic accounts to managementCommunicate professionally with clients and internal stakeholdersCompliance & FilingPrepare and lodge monthly or quarterly tax returnsKeep online filing systems organised and up-to-dateAssist with audits and perform other ad hoc financial tasks as neededSystem UseMaintain accuracy when using financial and CRM platforms including Xero, Excel, and VaultExtract and reconcile sales and customer data for financial reportingEnsure revenue reconciliation between Xero and Vault for accurate invoicingAbout YouYou will be a proactive and organised individual with a strong foundation in accounting and a keen eye for detail.

You bring solid communication skills, enjoy problem-solving, and can work effectively both independently and within a team. Required Skills & Experience:
