Job Description

Job Purpose:

The receptionist will be the first point of contact for our company, providing both administrative support and a welcoming environment for visitors, clients, and employees. As a key member of our team, the Receptionist will ensure smooth communication and operations within the office. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees with a positive attitude. Answer, screen, and forward phone calls while providing accurate information to inquiries. Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries in a timely manner. Maintain calendars for the office and schedule meetings or appointments as needed.

Perform basic office tasks such as filing, photocopying, data entry, and organizing documents. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, or concerns professionally and promptly. Monitor and maintain inventory of office supplies, ordering when necessary. Maintain the visitor logbook and issue visitor badges. Ensure that safety protocols are followed for entering the building. Laise with building management and security as required. Assist with other administrative duties as assigned by the Office Manager or HR Manager. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor degree or high school diploma or equivalentProven 5 years of experience as a receptionist, front office representative, or similar role.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and office management systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Friendly and approachable personality with a professional attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
