The role in a nutshell: The Quantitative Trader will be responsible for implementing and maintaining trading strategies, with a focus on market making.
This role involves active monitoring of the market making portfolio and crypto inventory, implementing high-frequency algorithms and applying quantitative analysis to establish and optimise a market. Your mission will be: Implement and deploy approved trading strategies. Manage crypto inventory and the market making portfolio, ensuring efficient assets allocation. Monitor and manage the profitability of the trading strategies and portfolio against risk limits. Design rigorous high frequency algorithms and apply asymmetries. Perform regression testing to establish and optimise the performance of trading strategies. Continuously optimise parameters to enhance trading performance.
Contribute to the design and implementation of strategies and architectureA little about you: An intuition for stochastic processes and its applications in finance. Proficient in one or more programming languages (Python, Go, Rust),Functional understanding of SQL, Looker, Databricks. Able to grasp concepts related to market mechanics, financial instruments, and trading strategies. A keen interest in market making and high-frequency trading.
