Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to build and lead the HR function at Luro Health. This role is both strategic and hands on. You will shape our people strategy, establish systems and processes for scale, and cultivate a high performance, values-driven culture. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, understands healthcare and technology workforce needs, and can balance compliance with creativity to support rapid growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic HR LeadershipDevelop and execute HR strategies aligned with Luro’s mission, business objectives, and growth trajectory Partner with leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and scaling strategies across multiple states Establish and track key HR metrics including recruitment velocity, turnover, engagement, and compliance Talent Acquisition and Workforce DevelopmentBuild and lead a recruiting engine to attract top clinical, technical, and operational talent Design competitive and equitable compensation structures, including benefits and incentive programs Partner with clinical and operations leaders to anticipate staffing needs across centers Oversee onboarding, credentialing, and training to ensure seamless integration of new hires Culture And Employee ExperienceFoster an inclusive, mission-driven culture that attracts, engages, and retains top talent Develop employee engagement programs, career pathways, and professional development initiatives Support leadership development and coaching for managers Compliance and Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with federal and state employment laws across multiple states Oversee HR policies, handbook updates, and employee relations Partner with leadership on DEI, ethics, and workplace safety initiatives Licensure and Credentialing OversightManage provider licensure and credentialing across multiple states with varying requirements Develop scalable systems for monitoring expirations, renewals, and payer credentialing Partner with operations and clinical leadership to ensure staffing aligns with state-specific regulations and readiness for expansion Operational ExcellenceImplement HR systems such as HRIS, ATS, and performance management tools to scale with the company Lead workforce analytics and reporting for leadership and board-level reviews Manage employee relations with discretion, fairness, and a solution-oriented mindset RequiredQualifications 7+ years progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role Experience in healthcare, health tech, or start-up environments Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices across multiple states Proven ability to balance strategic vision with tactical execution Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills PreferredPHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification Experience scaling HR functions in a start-up or high-growth company Background supporting clinical staff such as NPs, dietitians, and health coaches as well as technical and operational teams Familiarity with Medicaid, Medicare, FQHCs, or regulated healthcare environments Schedule And CompensationCompensation:
