Job Title: GL Assistant ManagerReporting to: Head of AccountingLocation: Seoul, KoreaMain Purpose of the Job: Oversee Accounting and Tax for Rimowa. Supervise day-to-day financial accounting activities and preparation of the financial reports and analysis, monitor and control compliance of all accounting policies and proceduresSupervise tax accounting and prepare tax returns (VAT, Corporate income tax etc. )Internal Control follow up and ensure the appropriate control is in placeSupport BPC & Accounting Head in relation to the General Accounting and TaxJob Responsibilities:

1) General Accounting management Supervises overall closing process monthlyReview of bookkeeping and general ledger maintenanceSupervise in posting, balancing, and reconciliation of the general ledgerMain contact for statutory audit (interim, year-end audit)BS detail reconciliation: Maintaining the healthy aging levelSupervising of inventory closing 2) Tax Accounting management Be responsible for the timely and accurate declaration and payment of company taxesTax return filing and tax authorities’ inspection handlingMain contact for corporate income tax filingSupervise & review quarterly VAT tax returns3) Supervising cash managementCash flow analysis4) Development and maintenance of ERP systemAX report update and standardization of reporting formatSet up of new account etc.

Training AX operations and accounting policy to newcomers Update AX manual for each procedure in FinanceFollow up any issue required from AX5. OthersAd-hoc tasks assignedRequirements: University Degree / Finance and Accounting, business administrationExperience and competency in accounting (AR/AP/GL/Tax) at least for 5 years in totalRetail experienced is must. Internal Control experienced preferred. ERP system (D365 or SAP) experienced preferred. Well-organized with excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAnalytic sense and skillful PC operationPrecise and accurate Good command of spoken and written English
