Overview:Inuka is working with a leading energy company to hire an M&A Manager based in Qatar (relocation required). The role supports the full M&A cycle—from strategy alignment and target evaluation to due diligence, transaction execution, and integration—helping drive the company’s long-term growth across the energy and water sectors.Responsibilities:Support the development of the company’s M&A strategy and identify suitable acquisition or partnership opportunities.Manage key stages of the M&A process, including screening, valuation, diligence, negotiations, closing, and integration.Conduct market and industry analysis to identify trends and assess target viability.Analyse financials, business models, and commercial risks of potential acquisitions.Build and review financial models and valuations to guide investment decisions.Prepare investment proposals and reports for senior management and the board.Coordinate with external advisors during due diligence and transaction execution.Track integration progress and ensure strategic objectives and synergies are achieved.Lead team members, support performance management, and guide talent development.Oversee budgeting for the section and ensure adherence to policies and controls.Enhance M&A processes and systems to improve efficiency, compliance, and reporting.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.10–15 years of experience in M&A or corporate development within the energy, power, or water sectors.Strong analytical, financial modeling, and strategic thinking skills.Proven track record executing complex transactions and managing cross-functional teams.Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.Fluency in English required; Arabic is a strong advantage.Familiarity with the GCC region is helpful.
