We serve corporate and private equity clients both on the sell-side and buy-side in domestic and cross-border transactions.About the opportunityJoin our growing Deals Transformation team within PwC’s market-leading M&A advisory practice where you will be allowed to bring your technology consultancy skills into an M&A environment. As a Senior Associate, you’ll support IT-related workstreams in M&A and divestment projects and gain exposure to operational and commercial topics. This is a great opportunity to truly position yourself in the middle of deal value creation and develop IT management consulting skills in a dynamic, transaction-driven environment.What will you be doing?In your daily work you support clients in pre- and post-deal M&A projects, ranging from IT/Technology due diligence to planning and implementing the deal from technology perspective. We will tailor your role and responsibilities based on your experience, but you will work e.g. with following topics:Identify key IT/technological considerations/questions to be addressed in pre-deal (due diligence) stage to assess the investment casePerforming IT due diligence on businesses across industries, as well as technology or commercial due diligence on companies possessing extensive own tech/software assetsPlanning and executing IT carve-out, integration, and post-deal value creation transformations related e.g. to IT/digital strategies, IT/digital operating models, and enterprise architectureData collection and analysis and facilitating management interviews, workshops and report presentationsAssist in identifying new opportunities and help maintain and grow relationships with corporate and private equity clientsParticipate in discussions around architecture, technology solutions, and implementation approaches, making a direct impact by communicating and advising C-level executivesWhat are we looking for?We’re seeking someone who is eager to learn and grow in the M&A and IT consulting space. Ideally, you would fulfil as many of the following qualities as possible:Already have a few years of experience in the field of IT, either from an IT consulting firm or relevant corporate IT strategy/transformation rolesHave a strong motivation to work in fast-paced M&A environment, with curiosity about how technology plays a role in transactions – Deal and M&A IT experience, be that due diligence, carve-out, integration or synergy assessment, is a plusUnderstand the basics of core building blocks of corporate IT, e.g. IT/digital strategy, IT operating models, IT/enterprise architecture, IT financial management, etc.Have interest in both technical and business aspects of IT/technology, software, and key digital trendsCan work with diverse stakeholders and have excellent communication and storytelling skillsHave an analytical mindset and a structured approach to problem-solvingHold a relevant degree (e.g. MSc in Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant field of Business such as Information and Service Management)Are fluent in English; Finnish or Swedish is a plusWe offer you a place to grow and a versatile team with varying backgrounds and experiences to learn from.
