FACILITY TEAM LEADJOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Salaried Non-ExemptJob OverviewMAC. BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products and sells them individually to the public through online auctions. The Facility Team Lead is a boots-on-the-ground supervisor who oversees the department and works alongside the team. Personnel under his/her guidance include drivers, maintenance, receiving, and general workers who help keep the flow of operations running smoothly . This position reports to the General Manager (GM).
Major Duties And Responsibilities Oversee the rapid unloading of trucks upon delivery to avoid fees, by receiving personnel Oversee the inventory and sorting of pallets Oversee the daily collection of cardboard for baling Oversee hourly trash collection of the scan team and daily collection of the rest of the warehouse, including offices Ensure that the dumpster lid can close, and no garbage is placed on or around the dumpster Take pallet jack and propane inventory daily Perform weekly audit of general warehouse cleanliness Perform daily audit of general parking lot cleanliness Coordinate and communicate effectively with the supervisory team Perform other tasks as required Qualifications Must be available to work onsite Monday – Friday with a half-hour lunch break, hours to be determined by workload and General Manager Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift Must be able to follow written directions and company policies Must have a High School diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred Must pass a pre-employment drug test and random drug tests during employment Must be fork truck certified (or successfully pass in-house training/certification) Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurability BenefitsHealthcare after 60 days of employmentWeekly paychecksEmployee credit each week to bid on our items after 60 days of employment401(k) with employer match after 90 days of employmentEmployee Referral Program13 days PTO after 90 days of employmentMAC.
