Position: Machine Shop SupervisorLocation: Hampton, NHResponsibilitiesMachine ShopSchedule, set up and track jobs for the Machine ShopPurchase needed materials and tooling for individual ordersDelegate Machine Shop responsibilities to the teamProvide monthly report for tracking shop income and material costsBag, label, and deliver completed work ordersAdd completed jobs going to Inventory into AX.Provide additional support to production when necessary (Oil and filter changes) the building vacuum, trouble shoot issues, and schedule repairs when neededQualificationsBachelors in a related discipline or equivalent amount of experience5-10 years of previous experience in related industryKnowledge of CAD/CAM toolsKnowledge and understanding of CMM programming and operationsPrior experience with surface grinder and CNC machines (Haas is a plus)Prior experience machining tightly tolerance high value components5 years of experience in a supervisory roleExperience in MRP software and Microsoft AX is preferredProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with CREO and/or SolidWorks is a plusAmphenol Corporation is proud of our reputation as an excellent employer.
