Macro Portfolio Manager

Location: Dubai or SingaporeAbout the RoleWe are recruiting for an experienced Macro Portfolio Manager with deep expertise in FX and global macro markets to join our multi-asset investment platform. The successful candidate will independently manage a discretionary or systematic macro portfolio, leveraging cross-asset insights to generate consistent, risk-adjusted returns.This role offers the opportunity to express macro views across FX, rates, and related asset classes within a collaborative and well-capitalized global trading environment.Key ResponsibilitiesIndependently manage a macro portfolio with defined capital and risk parameters.Develop and execute strategies across FX spot, forwards, options, and rates, incorporating global macroeconomic and geopolitical analysis.Identify cross-asset opportunities driven by policy divergence, inflation dynamics, and market dislocations.Apply disciplined risk management, including exposure monitoring, position sizing, and drawdown control.Collaborate with research, trading, and risk teams to optimize trade structure, execution, and capital usage.Deliver clear performance attribution, scenario analysis, and portfolio reviews to senior management.Requirements10–15 years of total experience in global markets, with minimum 2 years as a Macro or FX Portfolio Manager on the buy-side (hedge fund, prop trading, or multi-manager platform).Strong understanding of FX markets, interest-rate dynamics, and macro-economic fundamentals.Experience using derivatives (futures, swaps, options) to express directional or relative-value views.Strong understanding of Asia or Middle East markets and macro themes is advantageous.
