Come join our exciting Majestic Care Team!Position Overview: Majestic Care’s Maintenance Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the facilities maintenance department including, but not limited to developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the Maintenance Department’s programs and activities.
Key Responsibilities: Have Skilled Nursing facility experience, preferably in a long-term care settingDevelop and ensure implementation of preventative maintenance plansEnsure compliance with state, federal, and other regulatory agenciesCoordinate maintenance services and activities with other related departments (i. e. , Dietary, Nursing, Activities, etc.
)Be knowledgeable in building codes and safety regulations in addition to various mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, HVAC certification strongly preferredAssist to hire, train, and supervise maintenance assistantsParticipate in surveys/inspections by external agenciesPrepare and submit reports on maintenance functions and maintain accurate records and logs on maintenance activitiesProvide facility-wide training on safety issues and ensure maintenance staff is provided with relevant in-service trainingPerform routine maintenance and repair on building groundsInspect storage rooms, workrooms, utility/janitorial closets, etc. , for upkeep and supply controlMajestic Care provides a competitive compensation and full benefits package.
