Job PurposeA Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the implementation of daily/tactical maintenance activities aimed at maximizing equipment availability and reducing maintenance costs throughout the facility. Main Scope/ResponsibilitiesDevelop & Implement reliability-based standards and policies. Providing assistance with managing significant reactive work when requested. Leveraging an understanding of CMMS, predictive and preventive maintenance and materials management processPossessing department-specific understanding of process and equipment.
Contributing to the 5-year capital plan processInvestigate mechanical and/or electrical equipment failures and develop potential solutions based on sound mechanical/electrical practicesSupport Reliability Engineering with preventative/proactive maintenance initiatives Assist production and/or project engineering with inefficiencies/process improvement opportunities for area of responsibilitySupport Reliability Engineering with preventative/proactive maintenance initiatives Attend RD/DD area core team meeting as necessaryParticipate in post RD/DD critiques as necessary Participate in the management of the execution phase R/D and TARIdentify material and equipment upgrade opportunities and operational process changes to reduce failures/ enhance reliability and improve asset health Assist supervision & craftsman as needed to ensure applicable procedures are followedAdditional duties as assigned NEFS - No Exception For SafetyAdhere to all company HSE policies and procedures.
