We collaborate with charities, private organisations, and the Government to benefit local communities.We’re now looking for a full-time Maintenance Fitter to join our team at the Material Recovery Facility (MRF). You’ll be part of an inclusive, supportive, and diverse team working on the afternoon shift (2pm–10pm), with overtime available as required.About The RoleIn this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of plant equipment by performing both preventative and reactive maintenance tasks., including welding when required during downtime.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance on plant machinery and equipment Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults efficiently Support the day-to-day operations of the facility Proactive welding during downtime hours Identify and recommend process improvements Always follow safety regulations and safety rules at all times. Report any unsafe work practices or near misses.
