Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.You will join a cross-functional team that ensures equipment is maintained to the highest standards to meet our objectives for quality and reliability. In this critical role, you will be able to use your technical background and experience to deliver key outcomes, whilst ensuring your safety and that of your colleagues are a priority.This role is a Monday to Friday afternoon shift-based position, with additional over time opportunities. What Will You Do?RoleThis role will offer variety and scope for an enthusiastic team player who enjoys the full spectrum of a busy workplace, you will be the first and main point of contact when it comes to equipment and maintenance. You will:Interact with maintenance CMMSAssess job risks and implement control measuresIsolating equipment and performing corrective maintenance on the machinesInspecting equipment and identifying faults, taking necessary actions to repair theseResponding to and resolving machine breakdowns with a sense of urgencyPlanning and coordinating shutdowns for scheduled and unscheduled maintenanceContinually seeking opportunities to improve our maintenance strategiesMore About YouAs a highly motivated individual, you’ll enjoy taking ownership for your work and contributing to the larger team.
