Maintenance Manager

The Flexo Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading all maintenance activities related to Flexo printing, slitting, coating, and lamination machines, ensuring continuous, efficient, and safe operation of all equipment. The role involves planning, supervising, and executing preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime, improve reliability, and support production targets.Key Responsibilities:Plan, organize, and supervise all preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for Flexo printing, slitting, coating, and lamination machines.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults to restore equipment functionality efficiently.Develop and implement maintenance schedules and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent reliability and machine performance.Coordinate with the Production and Quality departments to align maintenance work with production plans and ensure product quality standards are maintained.Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring the availability of critical components and cost-efficient stock management.Lead, train, and supervise maintenance technicians, ensuring adherence to safety standards, proper maintenance practices, and skill development.Monitor machine performance data, identify root causes of recurring issues, and propose technical improvements.Collaborate with suppliers and external technicians for specialized repairs, upgrades, and technical support.Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the maintenance department.Prepare maintenance reports, cost analysis, and performance KPIs for management review.Continuously drive cost-saving initiatives through energy efficiency, improved maintenance practices, and optimized spare parts usage.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent).Minimum 15+ years of experience in maintenance management within Flexo printing packaging industries.Strong technical knowledge of Flexo printing, slitting, coating, and lamination machines.Excellent leadership, planning, and problem-solving abilities.Hands-on experience with preventive maintenance systems and troubleshooting.Proficiency in maintenance reporting and MS Office tools.Strong communication and team management skills.or you can send your CV over:CV@almutahida.com.iq
