Performing routing preventative maintenance checks, troubleshooting malfunctions, and ensuring the smooth operation of mechanical systems by utilizing various hand and power tools, all while adhering to safety regulationsPosition ResponsibilitiesProviding maintenance repairs to resort facilities. Repairs may include plumbing, kitchen, mechanical, laundry, electrical, landscaping, HVAC, heating, cooling, ventilation, furnishings and fixtures, painting, wall cover repairs, light carpentry, door and window repairsAbility to troubleshoot a wide variety of equipment and componentsMaintain all refrigeration, HVAC, Kitchen, and laundry equipmentWork independently and as a team with and around mechanical and chemical systemsWorking independently and as a team with electrical voltages up to and including 480-voltcircuits and controlsWorking independently and as a team with refrigerantsUse of appropriate hand tools, such as drills, hammers, knives, wrenches, and screwdrivers, etcWorking in hot and cold environmentsUse of all personal protections equipment’s (PPE), lock out tag out and all necessary safety equipmentAble to work with systems such as telephone switches, guest and employee internet networks, guest room door lock systems, and work order systemsReceive directions from management on daily assignments or projects and complete them in a timely mannerReceive directions for house calls via radio and respond promptly and appropriatelyComplete appropriate documents and logs for work assigned dailyAny other tasks assignedEducation/ExperiencePrevious general maintenance experience in a hotel settingPrevious HVAC, mechanical, plumbing maintenance experience requiredKnowledge of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment is required; commercial refrigeration experience is a plusPrevious experience with response to emergency situationsThorough working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and refrigeration systemsGood communications, diligence, time management, and guest satisfaction skills are requiredAbility to stand, walk, crawl, bend, squat, kneel and bend over for extended periods of timeAbility to lift/carry/push/pull up to 100 lbs. occasionallyWe thank all applicants; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
