Contractor housing is available.Raise is currently hiring a Maintenance Planner on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, the third largest producer of Canadian oil and natural gas and the second largest refiner and upgrader with extensive midstream and downstream infrastructure.Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.DescriptionThe Maintenance Planner in this role will provide detailed planning and support for maintenance activities at a key oil/gas facility in Northern Alberta. This role is crucial in maintaining the operational integrity of our assets by ensuring all maintenance work is planned efficiently, safely, and in alignment with our long-term strategy.Contract Maintenance Planner. This role will be based in Rainbow Lake AB.ResponsibilitiesDetailed Maintenance Planning:Develop detailed plans for all trade groups and departments, including General Maintenance, Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E), and Mechanical.Plan maintenance activities for all work types, including routine maintenance and major turnaround activities.Develop and refine task lists for repetitive routine tasks and standard turnaround scopes.Maintenance Strategy & PM Management:Manage existing Preventative Maintenance (PM) plans and develop new or refine existing plans where applicable to optimize asset reliability.Drive sustainment of License to Operate programs and operational integrity improvements.Collaboration and Scheduling:Partner with Operations staff, Maintenance Coordinators, and Senior Trades to review, prioritize, and plan all maintenance activities in a designated area.Facilitate weekly maintenance review meetings with Operations, Maintenance Coordinators, and Senior Coordinators to discuss ongoing activities, prioritize tasks, and review the upcoming two-week plan.Work with stakeholders to identify and incorporate maintenance requirements that may have been overlooked.Budget and Administration:Participate in monthly cost review and annual budget development meetings with Maintenance Coordinators, Senior Trades, peer Planners, and Operations.Perform other planning and administrative duties as required by the supervisor.Qualifications5 yrs. experience with maintenance philosophies, standards, strategies, practices, and processes within the energy industry.5 years planning experience with SAP5 yrs. of working knowledge of applicable energy industry Codes, Standards, Regulations, and Acts; design and construction practices; pressure and rotating equipment; electrical; instrumentation and controls; and operating process principles.Plant and production operations experience.Education And SkillsBachelor’s Degree or Technical Diploma ( Asset)Post-Secondary education in maintenance related discipline, preferably a degree in engineering ( Asset)Journeyman trade certificate( Asset)Power Engineering Certificate (4th Class) ( Asset)Gas Process Operations (GPO)/Production Field Operations (PFO) levels I,II,III, & IV or A,B,C&D, OGPO (NAIT) ( Asset)Additional InformationWork Schedule: 14/14, 11.43hrs/day.Looking for meaningful work?
