The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, with experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on our packaging lines, as well as providing technical support to our production staff.This role operates on a rotating shift schedule – see below.Week 1 6 00am – 2 00pmWeek 2 2 00pm – 10 00pmWeek 3 10 00pm – 6 00amWeek 4 7 00am – 4 00pmKey ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance and fault finding on machinery and equipmentCarry out breakdowns and repairs in a timely and efficient mannerAssist with machine and product changeoversShare knowledge and expertise with colleaguesGenerate and implement new ideas for improvementWe're looking for someone with Fitter/Turner Machinist qualificationMechanical and/or electrical qualificationKnowledge of food-related machinery, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, and PLC programmingExperience in a FMCG environment (desirable)Experience on a high-speed packaging line (desirable)Basic welding experience (desirable)High-speed packaging line experience (desirable)Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skillsStrong communication and teamwork skillsWhy Join Us?At Kraft Heinz, we believe in fostering a workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered.
