Rose Valley Management is looking to hire a Maintenance Technician to join our team!JOB SUMMARY: A Rose Valley Management Maintenance Technician is an essential team member who is responsible for providing excellent customer service while performing preventative and routine maintenance throughout the property grounds and in resident units.BENEFITS OF WORKING AT ROSE VALLEY:Opportunities for monthly commissionsHealth, Dental and Vision InsuranceFlexible Spending AccountHealth Spending AccountCommuter BenefitsGenerous PTO package401K after 1 year of service with a company matchQUALIFICATIONS:Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance, drywall, painting, and snow removalCustomer service first attitudeMust have reliable transportation for on-call emergenciesExperience working in maintenance in an apartment communityOn call REQUIREDDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:Responsible for common area and apartment repairs (routine and preventative) in the scope of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, wall repairs, painting, plumbing and appliancesFurther oversight of the building’s curb appeal though building exterior inspections, cleaning, and grounds maintenance is requiredCustomer service and attention to detail are critical skills to ensure the satisfaction of the community’s residentsSpecial projects as assignedApply preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problemsFix potential safety hazards to avoid injuriesAble to attend team meetings, workshops and training sessions as requiredWill be required to be in an on-call rotation with other employees for emergency work ordersPHYSICAL DEMANDS:Able to stand and walk inside and outside in all weatherAble to lift up to 50 lbsAble to endure walking, squatting, bending, balancing, climbing (ladders), kneeling, crawling and prolonged standingAs an essential player in the continued success of the property, it is important our Maintenance Technician has excellent customer service, organizational skills, and the ability to take initiative.
