This position involves operating, maintaining, and diagnosing issues with production machinery and equipment in a dynamic, high-speed manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining consistent product quality, optimizing production efficiency, performing routine maintenance, and contributing to ongoing process improvements along the production line.Pay Rate - $23/hr.-$28/hrShift timings - Flexible shiftsResponsibilities:Operate and oversee automated or semi-automated production equipment following established standard operating procedures (SOPs).Set up, calibrate, and adjust machinery for product changeovers.Conduct routine quality inspections to ensure all products meet required standards and specifications.Identify and troubleshoot mechanical or equipment issues, performing minor repairs or adjustments as needed while coordinating major repairs with the maintenance team.Perform preventive maintenance and regular equipment checks to minimize downtime and maintain smooth operations.Complete pre-start inspections and basic cleaning tasks to ensure equipment readiness and operational safety.Maintain accurate production records, including logs, downtime reports, and quality documentation.Collaborate with maintenance and engineering staff to address complex equipment problems efficiently.Follow all health, safety, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations to ensure a safe working environment.Support process improvement initiatives aimed at boosting productivity, reducing waste, and improving product consistency.Participate in team meetings, safety briefings, and training sessions as required.Assist in mentoring and training new or temporary operators in equipment operation and troubleshooting.Contribute to root cause analysis and corrective action planning to prevent recurring issues.Qualifications:Technical or vocational certification, or equivalent on-the-job experience.Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and documentation to assist with equipment setup and troubleshooting.Foundational knowledge of PLC systems, robotic operations, HMIs, and automation controls.Familiarity with servo motors, electrical systems, and alignment procedures.Mechanically inclined, with practical understanding of lubrication, calibration, and preventive maintenance techniques.1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in food processing.Strong mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills and attention to operational detail.
