Job Description

NSB Omega is searching for a Maintenance/Turnaround Scheduler for our MAJOIR Oil & Gas Client in San Francisco(Rodeo), CA.Assignment DescriptionThe Maintenance/Turnaround Scheduler will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing detailed maintenance and turnaround (TAR) schedules. This position ensures alignment between operations, maintenance, engineering, and project management teams to achieve cost, safety, and reliability objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage detailed maintenance and turnaround schedules using Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software.Coordinate input from maintenance, operations, engineering, and contractors to create integrated, resource-loaded schedules.Monitor progress, track milestones, and report variances to project leadership.Support development of work packs, job plans, and execution readiness reviews.Participate in planning and scheduling meetings, providing updates and performance analysis.Identify and mitigate schedule risks; recommend corrective actions when deviations occur.Support post-turnaround reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure compliance with company safety policies, operational procedures, and industry standards.QualificationsRequired:Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).5+ years of experience in maintenance or turnaround scheduling within refining, petrochemical, or oil & gas environments.Proficiency with Primavera P6 (mandatory).Strong understanding of refinery maintenance, shutdown, and turnaround work processes.Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary, fast-paced environment.PreferredExperience with SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) or similar CMMS systems.Prior experience supporting large refinery turnarounds or capital project schedules.Working knowledge of critical path analysis and resource leveling techniques.Familiarity with safety and regulatory requirements in California refining operations.Duration1 Year(With Possibility of Extension)LocationSan Francisco(Rodeo), CA
