Role OverviewWe’re looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Intern to support our Finance team, with a focus on accounts receivable, client follow-ups, and financial reconciliations. This is a great opportunity for students or recent graduates interested in gaining hands-on experience in accounting within a fast-paced startup environment. Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in tracking and managing accounts receivable, including issuing and following up on invoices. Communicate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely collections. Perform bank, cash, and system reconciliations regularly. Support in recording transactions and maintaining accurate financial data. Help monitor aging reports and flag overdue accounts.
Assist in reconciling customer balances and resolving discrepancies. Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and audit support documents. Maintain organized records and support digital filing of financial documents. Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as needed. RequirementsCurrently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. Basic knowledge of accounting principles (receivables, ledgers, journals, etc. ). Proficient in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets. Strong attention to detail and good numerical skills.
Strong written and verbal communication in English and ArabicSelf-motivated with the ability to work independentlyExperience with accounting software (Zoho Books) is a plus but not required.
