Position TitleAssistant Manager, Warehousing & LogisticsReport ToSenior Manager, Supply Chain ManagementPosition Summary Responsible for leading and overseeing the Supply Chain team to support operational requirements effectively and efficiently. This role involves managing departmental budgets within approved limits, justifying any significant variances with corrective action plans. The Manager ensures departmental KPIs are met, and implements timely corrective or mitigation actions in case of shortfalls. Additionally, the role ensures each function within the department is adequately resourced in terms of manpower, training, and facilities, while proactively providing alternative solutions to support continuous operational excellence. Key AccountabilityOversee Logistics Operations:
Manage the receipt, warehousing, distribution, dispatch, and related logistics activities of aircraft spares and materials to support maintenance and engineering operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards at optimum cost. Freight & Shipment Management: Establish timely and cost-effective arrangements for both inbound and outbound freight and shipments to support operational demands. Budget and Resource Control: Manage departmental expenditures within the approved budget and ensure appropriate organizational structure and manpower to deliver efficient logistics services. Safety, Discipline & Daily Operations Oversight:
Enforce safety standards and workplace discipline; ensure executives conduct daily briefings to review progress and activities reported from the previous day. Training & Staff Competency: Ensure personnel possess the necessary skills and knowledge, receive appropriate and updated training, and apply best practices to perform tasks efficientlyControl Systems & Procedures: Implement and enforce effective control systems, procedures, and best practices for all logistics functions, including loans and borrows of aircraft spares and materials. Stores Receipt & Inspection Compliance:
In collaboration with the QS Department, ensure spares and materials received meet MAB Engineering and CAAM standards, and provide proper inspection, storage environment, and handling in accordance with CAD 8601. Material Support & Approvals: Ensure timely and efficient transportation and dispatch of spares to meet maintenance needs and approve company documents within authority limits as per the approving manual. Qualification & Working ExperienceMinimum Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Aircraft Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or related fields. Preferred certifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Warehouse Management (optional). Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

Proven track record in managing warehouse and logistics activities, ensuring compliance with aviation standards and regulatory requirements.
