Company Description Maluk Timor's primary objective is to improve the quality of healthcare being delivered by Timor-Leste’s developing health system. We work inside government-run health centers, alongside Timorese health workers, and in close partnership with the Timorese Ministry of Health (MOH). Our collaborative approach aims to ensure better health outcomes for the population. Role Description This is a contract on-site role for a HIV Doctor, located in Dili. The HIV Doctor will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients living with HIV.
Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing and treating HIV, developing patient care plans, working closely with healthcare teams, and educating patients and staff about HIV prevention and management. The HIV Doctor will also collaborate with the Ministry of Health to enhance healthcare services.
Qualifications Medical degree with specialization in Infectious Diseases or related fieldKnowledge of HIV treatment protocols and guidelinesStrong clinical skills in diagnosing and treating HIVExperience in developing patient care plans and working in healthcare teamsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively with government health bodiesCommitment to improving healthcare quality in developing health systemsExperience working in resource-limited settings is a plusProficiency in English; knowledge of Tetum or Portuguese is advantageous
