YesEssential FunctionsPerforms tasks involving the operation of mammographic and related imaging equipment.Positions patients accurately and applies immobilization techniques when necessary.Selects appropriate imaging modes and exposure factors to ensure optimal image quality.Evaluates images for diagnostic accuracy and obtains additional views as required.Prepares and sets up exam rooms and medical supplies, following aseptic techniques.Cleans and disinfects equipment and exam rooms in accordance with infection control standards.Maintains adequate stock of supplies and ensures readiness of exam rooms.Explains procedures clearly to patients and provides support throughout the process.QualificationsEducation High School Diploma or Equivalent required and Associate's Degree Related Field of Study preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?
