Management AccountantLocation: London | Hybrid WorkingSalary: £50,000About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Management Accountant to join a dynamic and forward-thinking internal finance team within one of the UK’s leading mid-tier accountancy and advisory firms based in London. You’ll take ownership of management accounts, VAT processes, WIP reporting and budgeting, while driving efficiency and supporting business decision-making through insightful financial analysis and reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport senior leadership with month-end processes and management reporting.Prepare monthly management accounts, journal entries and intercompany transactions.Oversee quarterly VAT returns and manage monthly VAT payments in line with HMRC regulations.Lead and mentor a Finance Team of 3.Deliver quarterly WIP (Work in Progress) reviews, identifying opportunities to enhance recovery rates.Produce and distribute monthly financial reports, including WIP and productivity insights.Conduct finance inductions for new starters and handle finance-related queries across the business.Oversee staff expense and supplier payment runs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Manage supplier relationships and assist with partner-related financial administration.Support the annual audit and budgeting process.About YouYou’ll be a part qualified accountant with strong technical knowledge, great communication skills and a proactive approach.
