Management Accountant

As a Management Accountant, you will be part of a highly dedicated and professional team responsible for delivering the highest quality of service to an internationally focused business. The main purpose of your role is to support the finance team in preparing financial reports, analyzing data, and ensuring the accuracy of financial information.Management AccountantLocation: Europoort, RotterdamHours per week: 36.25 (Full-time)Key responsibilitiesYou will play an active part in the company's financial reporting and business support, contributing through accurate analysis, timely reporting, and insight-driven support to guide strategic decision-making. Your tasks will include:Supporting most aspects of accounting managementManage and post monthly journals for accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and all sundry journals necessary to prepare the monthly Management Accounts.Performing balance sheet and P&L reconciliationsAssisting in budget and forecast preparationSupporting internal and external auditsManaging fiscal returns, including VATPayroll postings and accountingDeveloping reports for management or regulatory bodiesReviewing accounting data for accuracySupporting internal control implementationYour profileQualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)Good command of English; other European languages desirableStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience in accounting or a similar roleExperience with management reporting in an international environment is a plusProficient in MS Office and accounting systemsAffinity with logistics or manufacturing sectorsTeam player, accurate, and proactive mindsetWho are we?We are P&O Ferrymasters, and we work with some of the largest companies in the world to make sure that their goods get to where they need to on time and efficiently.
