The role will also support the Finance teams in ensuring the enriched data supports MI submissions, reporting packs, and analytical use cases.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in configuring and validating MI outputs to meet management reporting requirements.Partner with business SMEs to ensure completeness and accuracy of MI allocations.Validate data flows into TM1 and ensure reconciliation with management reporting structures.Support creation and maintenance of the discovery dataset for data exploration.Collaborate with Finance and Data Operations teams to test and approve enriched outputs.Provide data-driven insights to support business analysis and forecasting activities.ControlDirect Reports: Ensure reporting processes adhere to HSBC internal controls and governance. Maintain traceability of MI rules and allocations for audit readiness.Management Of Risk Identify potential gaps in MI reporting outputs or data integrity.Ensure proactive remediation and control validation prior to go-live.Stakeholder Management Engage with entity controllers, Data Operations, and SMEs for MI validation. Liaise with Omnia and reporting teams to ensure MI usability and accuracy. Support preparation of MI insights for entity and regional leadership reviews.Essential Experience & Competencies Strong experience in management reporting, MI analytics, or Finance systems. Working knowledge of TM1, FCDP, and data visualisation tools (e.g., Looker). Proven analytical and reconciliation skills. Good understanding of allocation and enrichment logic in Finance reporting. Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation discipline. Note: These are temporary project roles engaged to support BFA implementation. Consultants will roll off once the BFA build and transition to BAU are complete.Note: These roles will be temporary consultant resources engaged via the project function to backfill BAU capacity. All positions will roll off once the BFA implementation is complete.
