The company specializes in enabling IT service providers and resellers to scale their capabilities through strong vendor partnerships, market development, and a high-impact partner ecosystem.The RoleAs Manager – Business Development, you will lead a team responsible for developing vendor strategies, activating the partner ecosystem, and driving commercial growth in the Dutch market. Your focus will be on strategic leadership, team development, and translating market opportunities into clear, actionable plans.You will play a key role in shaping the organization's commercial direction, aligning vendor and partner strategies, and ensuring measurable impact across the Business Development function.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, manage, and coach a team of ±9 Business Development Managers, including setting objectives, performance management, and career development.Own the business development strategy for the unit, setting medium- and long-term plans for market growth, vendor enablement, and partner ecosystem expansion.Ensure each BDM operates with clear vendor/product-focused business plans—monitor execution, track performance, and make adjustments where needed.Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendor partners, ensuring alignment with the organization's go-to-market strategy.Work cross-functionally with Account Management, Marketing, Technical/Pre-Sales, and other internal teams to ensure cohesive market activation.Define and track KPIs, monitor performance metrics, and provide insights and reporting to senior leadership.Bring market trends, competitive insights, and ecosystem developments into leadership discussions.Represent the organization externally in vendor and partner settings as a strategic commercial leader.Ideal ProfileProven experience managing and developing teams within the IT channel (vendor, distributor, or reseller environment).Strong understanding of the Dutch IT and cybersecurity landscape.Strategic thinker with experience converting long-term vision into actionable commercial plans.Skilled relationship-builder with experience engaging stakeholders at all levels.Collaborative leader with a coaching mindset and a track record of driving accountability.Fluent in Dutch and English.What’s on OfferA high-impact leadership role in a rapidly growing international technology environment.Strategic ownership and the opportunity to shape the direction of a key business unit.Competitive salary package including performance-based bonus.A dynamic, people-focused culture with autonomy, collaboration, and growth at its core.
