Manager - Fabric Sourcing

We are seeking for a Fabric Sourcing Manager to lead the end-to-end fabric sourcing, development and technical management process by ensuring timely delivery, consistent quality, and cost efficiency. The role requires strong technical expertise in woven fabrics, proactive supplier coordination and contributing to the company's growth and profitability.Key Responsibilities:Negotiate and plan fabric delivery schedules with overseas mills to ensure timely and cost-effective supply in alignment with production requirements.Closely monitor fabric production status with mills, proactively identifying potential delays and ensuring all batches are ready as per the agreed timelines.Review and track all fabric testing results and technical parameters. Provide mills with necessary technical guidance and implement corrective or preventive actions based on detailed risk assessments.Conduct OTMs at the beginning of each season to evaluate potential risks associated with fabric development and types.Ensure on-time fabric delivery from suppliers, with all relevant shipping documents accurately shared and maintained for smooth downstream processing.Demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge of various woven fabric types, their constructions, and performance characteristics.Provide expert advice and technical support to internal and external stakeholders. Conduct weekly factory visits to investigate and resolve quality concerns related to delivered fabrics.Recommend and implement effective solutions to prevent recurrence of issues. Maintain excellent communication with overseas suppliers and internal teams, ensuring alignment on quality, timelines, and technical expectations.Key Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in in Textile Engineering with a minimum 8–10 years of hands-on experience in fabric sourcing, development, and production follow-up.Must have experience handling woven products and prior experience handling customers such as Uniqlo / GU or similar global brands will be a strong advantage.Excellent command of written and spoken English.Highly motivated and result-driven individuals.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
