Ensure the collection, validation, and analysis of all data and analytical work and support provided by the GTS CoE is accurate and to a high standard providing insightful business intelligence to Senior Management. Headcount & Workforce Management. Oversee the tracking of staffing levels, hiring controls, and workforce planning, ensuring accuracy in data sets and compliance with governance policies. Management of resources that support and enforce hiring controls and ensure all headcount requests and approvals align with business priorities and guidelines. Work closely with GTS Finance to ensure alignment with cost reporting. Taxonomy & Organizational Structure. Lead the monitoring and oversight of the Taxonomy and Headcount data integrity. Which includes rectification of inconstancies in job classifications, role taxonomies and reporting structures, ensuring clarity across the GTS business. Strategic Offshore Support. Drive the capability to provide presentation and governance support. Covering market data analysis, sales analysis, internal communications and event organising to GTS regions and market teams. Process Improvement & Efficiency. Identify opportunities to automate processes, to enhance reporting accuracy, and optimize the output of the GTS Business Performance CoE team. Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination. Act as the primary liaison between the CoE and onshore teams, ensuring alignment, issue resolution and seamless collaboration. Work alongside other colleagues in off-shore locations, that provide similar business support to other HSBC business lines. Governance & Compliance. Ensure all offshore business management activities adhere to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices. The GTS Business Performance Manager will play a critical role in establishing the Center of Excellence (CoE) within HSBC’s Global Trade Solutions (GTS) COO. With circa 3,800 employees across 48 sites plus circa 1,500 operational staff located in support centres. In total generating more than $2.7 billion in revenue, GTS ensures that HSBC remains the world’s largest trade finance organization. The CoE for Business Performance is designed as a resource to specifically augment workforce planning and sales enablement functions of work that fall within the scope of the Business Performance team. In addition the CoE will provide ad-hoc support in the delivery of Strategic communications, events and content development. This role will be pivotal in managing business performance and workforce data, overseeing associated management initiatives and ensuring accurate reporting. This role is key to ensuring that the CoE will act as a critical enabler of strategic planning, supporting GTS regions and markets in meeting their goals, while driving efficiency and data accuracy across various functions of business performance. Key Responsibilities Degree (e.g. BA, MBA etc.) in related field and commensurate practical experience. Demonstrable financial modelling skills (e.g., Budgeting/Forecasting, excel based scenario analysis, pricing analysis). Change Management (e.g., automation, process improvements/ re-engineering). Collaborative, engaging, credible and methodical; being able to bring the numbers, policy and narrative to life (e.g., presenting to a wide range of stakeholders/ senior management). Experience of building and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders (all levels of seniority).
