Bring your project management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic thinking skills to shape Queensland's future.Your new opportunityQueensland Treasury is seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join the Treasury Transaction Team (TTT) as a Manager - Project and Stakeholder Engagement (AO8). This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in developing and coordinating a pipeline of innovative projects that deliver vital infrastructure and services for Queensland.As part of a new function within Queensland Treasury, you will work across government and the private sector to drive strategic initiatives, turning concepts into tangible actions and recommendations. Your work will directly contribute to Queensland's economic growth and recovery priorities.In This Role, You WillSupport the Head of Transactions in business development and project ideation by managing a pipeline of incoming requests and targeted market engagement relevant to key industry sectors.Develop systems and processes for evaluating and progressing transaction proposals, applying your knowledge of project evaluation, public policy frameworks, market trends, and government objectives.Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring strong communication strategies across public and private sector organisations.Provide high-quality written and verbal advice and reporting to senior executives and ministerial staff.What Experience You Will BringExperience in developing and applying systems and evaluative criteria for projects, with an understanding of project life cycles.Demonstrated ability to manage complex and time-sensitive workstreams during periods of change and uncertainty.Problem-solving, innovation, and the ability to provide strategic, practical, and solutions-oriented advice.Strong relationship management skills, reflecting high degrees of trust, collaboration, and political acumen.Knowledge of public policy frameworks and the Queensland regulatory environment.Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role, relevant qualifications will be highly regarded.How To ApplyTo submit your application, click on the Apply link to provide:Your resume detailing relevant experienceA cover letter of no more than two pages outlining why you are interested in this position and how your knowledge, skills and experience makes you a strong candidate for the role.Queensland Treasury is committed to building an inclusive and diverse workforce that reflects the community we serve and treating all applicants equitably.
